Orthodox Tea Grades
Our selection of single-origin, unflavored, loose-leaf orthodox teas, graded to industry standards and processed in strict hygienic conditions, includes:
● FBOP (Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe): Slightly wiry, less twisted broken leaf with few silvery tips. Quick brew with a rich aromatic scent, reddish liquor, and mellow flavor.
● FBOPF (Fine Broken Orange Pekoe Flowery): Twisted smaller and fairly blacker leaf with coppery bright color. Rich and fresh flavor.
● FBOPFsp: Short thin broken leaf with lower amounts of colored tips. A specialty tea with a sweet flavor.
● OPA(Orange Pekoe A): Larger leaves, long bold and slightly twisted. Mild flavor and light liquor.
● OP1 (Orange Pekoe-1): Delicate long and wiry leaf. Light liquor and refined taste.
● PEKOE: Made of young tender tea leaves and buds, with a unique appearance similar to black peppercorn. Light golden reddish liquor and delicate taste.
● FOP (Flowery Orange Pekoe): A very good leaf tea made from fine plucking with the right amount of bud and tender leaf tips
